Ida's Summersong (Idas sommarvisa) has come to be so popular among the swedish people (and the other nordic countries as well) that it more or less has taken over the traditional psalm from 1693 " Den Blomstertid Nu Kommer ". When this psalm is sung at school, shivers goes down the spind, because "now is it over", a whole year of studying is finally over, and summervacation awaits! But in schools Astrid Lingrens "Idas Sommarvisa" has become so popular, that it more or less has taken over the old 1600's psalm, to be the song that "salutes the graduation!
